Sheet Music. Johann Sebastian Bach. Lute. Suite in G minor, BWV 995. Johann Sebastian Bach composed his Suite in G minor, BWV 995, between 1727 and 31. It is based on his own Cello suite no. 5 in C minor (BWV 1011). It was written for the lute or the lautenwerk, a period keyboard instrument that reproduced the characteristic sound of the lute.
